Vovo Amazon B20 engine in 7-car

Hi all,

Anybody over here with experience in having the Volvo B20 engine in a seven-type kitcar?

I have a higly tuned 1968 B20 and plan (in a future) to built a Mac1.

As newbie, orienting on almost everything, feedback is highly appreciated.

regards,

It could be fitted. There´s some builders in sweden using this engine, but the B23 is more common.

I was under the impression the B20 (I had one in a 144S) was a variant of the Ford Taunus engine with cam gears instead of a cam chain, basically a butch Kent engine

its quite a bit bigger than a kent engine . in fact its the same as a b230 length wise - just a bit lower . theres is a engine in sweden with 236 hp NA , not bad from a pushrod

theres no doubt that all manufacturers use successfull engine designs as basis for development .
