Sierra servo/master cylinder help

Hello,

I'm trying to clean up my sierra brake servo and master cylinder but to do it properly I need to split the master cylinder from the servo. Is this anything major? Will I need to replace and seals or other parts afterwards to refit? Do I need any special tools?
Is it really worth it just to make it easier to clean up and repaint to look pretty or should I just struggle with it all together?

What you need to do is take off the servo and put it in the bin. Then use the master cylinder without it. Simple. Well sort off, you just need to make a pushrod off your brake pedal using a clevis. That's what almost everyone else does.

Sierra mastercylinder is too big a bore get yourself a new cylinder 0.7" or 0.75 bore

Been a couple of threads on this i the last couple of weeks --- go to brakes international web site & pick the right cylinder and the cost isn't that much

Brakes Internatiional online catalogue is the cheapest supplier The Fiesta Mk1 non-servo mastercylinder is very similar suitable they list it under part number BMC4050 at £44.50 --

This cylinder has an extra outlet -- just put a brake bleed nipple in this to blank it off.

A Polo Mk1 1100 cylinder is also suitable and cheaper but you would have to get a resevoir off an old Golf in the scrappies.
