Diesel Rocket OTR... and back in the garage
dinosaurjuice - 12/1/09 at 11:34 PM

Finally fully road legal , and back in garage while im away for another term at uni

a few pics from the driveway before putting away for the spring..

Had time to move the cycle wings around..

And fit the acrylic screen...

Had to fit an acrylic panel to get through sva - too many sharp edges on fly-by-wire pedal...

Veeeerry tidy! I like.... how does it perform with the diesel in it?

Dangle_kt - 12/1/09 at 11:54 PM

So then, how does it go?? !!??

I'd be really interested in a bit of detail on the review, handling, and as has been mentioned the fact it burns oil rather than proper fuel
oh yeah, WELL DONE!!!!!!

...except for that front number plate (doesn't look quite the right typeface to me, doesn't have maker's name, etc.)

Great-looking car - looking forward to hearing how it drives with the tractor engine

Well done!

That looks superb and IMHO the diesel makes it all the more interesting. Look forward to some driving reviews come the spring

thanks for the comments guys

yes i must admit the front number plate is homemade - all be it on a cnc sticker machine.

how does it go? like a stabbed rat keep it in the powerband (2000-4000) and its very lively. the turbo makes some interesting noises too...

ohh yea... and ive done 53 miles on less than 3.5 litres of juice

the handling seems really good to me, but my other car's a picasso.... so not much of a comparison.

technical stuff:
136hp @ 4000rpm
320Nm @ 2000rpm
approx 650kgs
3rd generation common rail injection.
running about 16 psi boost.
