Im after some pics or build blogs of home build mid engine cars. Not kit cars though but actual cars converted to mid-engine. The main thing i want to
see is how the rear suspension has been built or modified.
Cheers Craig.
New issue of PPC has a nice mid engined student project. It is a modified locost design with the passenger cabin moved forward to accomodate a Toyota
engine in the back. Looks quite impressive naked.

best bet depending on the 'actual car' in question of course and especially if the car also has front and rear struts, would be to transplant the whole front suspension and subframe to the back and then fix the track rods to the inner wings to use as toe in adjustment. Most difficult job would be to sort out the gear linkages but you could use the cables used for speed boat outboard steering for that and a bit of ingenuity.
Here you go...these are mine...

Do you want actual cars that have been converted or are scratch-built cars acceptable, too?
