i cannot comprehend how much work is involved in making your own body work, i filled a few holes and prepared mine for spraying and that was more than enough for me.

Well done, give us some more spec details. Also, how do you start to go about making your body?, i have seen threads with people covering their chassis with ply wood and mdf but not sure how they get to the finished article.

the engine is mondeo 2.0 zetec so plenty of tuneability (when money is available) also i am hoping to put it in production if everything goes to plan and the mondeo is a cheap donor car.
i havnt decided 100% on the colour scheme yet but it could be matt black with silver panels because i have a black and silver steering wheel.

making the panels is one of the hardest parts. i usually start with some moulding foam which i think you can see in some of the pictures. it shapes very easy then glass over it, skim it with filler and prime and paint. then you have to mould it and make the proper part. then you cry when you smash the original foam bits to pieces to get them off the chassis. a lot of hard work but worth it in the end. i have also used mdf as a starting point on the back panels, i think there are some pics showing that aswell.

its good to see an a35 in the background, also good to se the work you putting into your kit PS I have a few sporting goodies left for an a35 if your interested

the a35 isnt mine its a customers car (my friends dad) so i will let him know. u2u me with a rough list of what youve got and i will pass it on.
