Hello gentlemen, and others... I've been away for a while but hopefully you haven't forgotten me?
I know some of you participate on the locostusa forum so please excuse the cross-post. This is for those of you that don't go over there... This
is a short update of the La Bala project, which some of you will remember was started here at around the same time that locostbuilders.co.uk came into
existence.
La Bala #0003
This La Bala has been built by Jim Holley in North Carolina. It is the most complete of my builder cars with the exception of the all-electric car in
California. This one is powered by a 260hp supercharged GM 2.0 Ecotec with 5 speed LSD transaxle out of the Cobalt SS. His goal is to autocross the
car extensively. Jim built it from my plans, using my bodywork kit and it has taken him approx. 7 months to complete. He will be adding the finishing
touches in the next 2 weeks and showing this car off at the Carlisle, Pa. USA 'Import, Kit and Replicar Nationals' on May 15-17th 2009. It
will be at booth D5 under the covered pavilion.
Looks pretty in blue eh?

ah, one of the later generations of ecotec mines a x20xev.
ah well, maybe a later upgrade
I really like the way you have the windsheild supports done- is that different from the early version or is it just filled in around a windshield
tube.
