hi wanted to know if any of you are familiar with supercharging? Just got me one of those eaton chargers off ebay fo minis. It's going onto an alfa 1.7 16v engine and wanted to know ho to calculate which pulley to use etc...

The MINI has a 1.6 liter engine... putting a positive displacement blower on a 1.7L motor with OE pulleys should yeild slightly less boost... a good place to start when trying to work out your fueling/timing in my opinion. Are the RPM ranges of the two motors similar?... you wouldn't want to "over-spin" the blower.
