Ok, so ive got a mid-engine with a UN1 attached to the 2.2 8V Renault engine which im looking to replace.
Anyone else attached anything to the UN1? I know the GT40 boys use V8's etc, but im limited for space, time and i didnt want anything too
difficult at this stage.
I want to keep the UN1 in exactly the same place as it is now, so that i just need to worry about engine mounts.
Any Ideas? I will need a method of joining the new lump to the UN1 as well.
I was thinking Duratec or Zetec?? something 2.0 or 2.2 or even 2.5?

It looks like there are a few turbo zetecs on un1

How about dumping the UN1, going turbo VAG on standard VW/audi transaxle.
No adaptors, lots of power and a stronger more modern solution.
Have a look under the bonnet of passats etc.

Ive got an adapter for a UN1 to chevy V8 lol
also have a recon UN1 to go with it!
