Yeah I'm just starting in on modifying my existing shell, having cut it in half to create a removable engine cover. I really look forward to working with composites; it's a new chapter for me, but I also know it'll be messy, smelly, potentially very unhealthy, and slow.

Still, the versatility of the stuff is amazing. Hard not to have illusions of grandeur... "heck, I could make a McLaren F1..."

You better watch out there Alan, before you know it you could actually have a car that you can take out for a 'spin'.... hoooooooo If you get my 'drift'.... haaaaaaa..... (inside joke)

But seriously. The finish of your plug is fantastico! I certainly do understand where the hours went! Sanding, sanding, sanding...
