Chris, thanks..

I'll pass on the offer of more work though...LOL...it's been gruelling....

Chris_R - 12/7/04 at 08:25 PM

Oh well, if you need some time to think about it I'll not need it for a few years. Seriously though, nice job, very tidy.

Alan

Would you have any clue to how many hours you've spent on this so far ?

To the nearest thousand ?

Alan B - 12/7/04 at 08:56 PM

ha slacker alan

only 50 weeks per year

I'll put some extra hours in then to make up...

Yeah I'm just starting in on modifying my existing shell, having cut it in half to create a removable engine cover. I really look forward to working with composites; it's a new chapter for me, but I also know it'll be messy, smelly, potentially very unhealthy, and slow.

Still, the versatility of the stuff is amazing. Hard not to have illusions of grandeur... "heck, I could make a McLaren F1..."

You better watch out there Alan, before you know it you could actually have a car that you can take out for a 'spin'.... hoooooooo If you get my 'drift'.... haaaaaaa..... (inside joke)

But seriously. The finish of your plug is fantastico! I certainly do understand where the hours went! Sanding, sanding, sanding...
