J15 build, Fuel cutoff + Charcoal purge

Some advice needed on a couple of items on the wiring harness.

1) The fuel cutoff switch on a front engined car goes at the rear near the fuel tank. My Westie has it here. Where does it go in a rear engined car with the tank at the front?

2) The donor Puma had a Charcoal canister purge valve, which presumably links into the inlet chamber. Is there any reason to keep this valve connected to the ECU?

1 - I haven't re-used it.

2- You don't need to re-use the purge valve, you will get a permanent fault code but it can be ignored.

I get three codes as I dont run the emissions crap either.

P0443 Evaporative Emission control system purge valve cuircuit

P1401 Differential pressure feedback electronic sensor circuit high voltage.

P1409 EGR vacuum regulator circuit malfunction.

You could mount the switch anyware aslong as its at the corect angle.

As a point of interest what is the correct angle? (I was going to post a question separately on this, hope you don't mind the hijack!)
