Exhaust part help please
I predict a Riot - 17/4/13 at 08:20 PM

I've tried all the normal places and I can't find one - do they even exist?

I need a 2" inside diameter 45degree stainless steel exhaust piece.

It needs to be a split end style so that I can clamp each end so that the joint is easy to separate if I need to remove the exhaust, which would be impossible if welded.

Any help much appreciated.

Thanks Adrian

Rally Design, Burtons, Demon Tweeks, eBay
If they don't do split ends cut with 1mm disc in an angle grinder

Tried all of them.

Burton's do one but it only has a slip joint on one end.

If you contact an exhaust place that sells stainless bits I'm sure they could flare both ends of a bend no problem. Failing that exhaust expanders are reasonably cheap to buy off ebay.

If its to fit over 2" OD pipe all you need to do is cut the slo ts---- hack saw fitted with 2 blades so it cuts a wider slit or thin cutting blade in an angry grinder.

There is an ebay seller who has all sorts of exhaust bits and will make specials.

If you want to take it back off use stainless T bolt clamps not U bolt clamps.

It's probably not a stock item but give OJZ Engineering a call - 01777 248877.

OJZ website

They manufacture all sorts of exhaust bits and will make up pretty much anything if you tell them what you want. Did a great job on my oddball list of requirements!

Thanks every one for your advice and offers of help.

I have found a local engineering company who can weld it up for me which was not my preferred option but I want the car back on the road in plenty of time for Stoneleigh.
