right I have owned 4 7 style kits all with bec's and been thinking of buying a midi. but are they much fun to drive compared to the 7 style, as I
enjoy just letting the back end slide out of corners etc and was wondering can you still drive them like this as obviously theres more weight over the
rear
many thanks in advance
I wondered that too when looking at them!!
Give Martin a ring and see what he says.
There's a photo on his web site that shows one going somewhat sideways!
If you like the MK Midi then if I were you I'd be looking at the Sylva J15/j16/Vectis. There is a write up on the Vectis (MGF single donor version of J15/16 chassis) in one of the kit car mags this month, sounds very good for a reasonable outlay. VVC K series version would be a very good balance between power and chassis handling IMO.
has no one on here had a drive in a midi compared to the 7 type, are they massively different or very similar etc
You can still go sideways in a mid engined car but not quite as easy to 'drift' as compared to a seven.
or just buy this one, lve been n this car

you can not drift mine at all. (mid engine but not mk midi) its lethal on cold tyres and when tyres up to temp the grip seems endless until it lets go.and unless your very very good,it will let go and it will end in tears! unless your travelling at modest/fast speeds. in which case it should be fun.
