Totally insane....
I love it..
Some years back I noticed he said he'd spent 17,000 hours on it so far - yes, 17,000. Who knows what it's up to by now...

So that makes you and I real slackers doesn't it?.......
Goodness Gracious, I mean, looking at the car I can tell that a tremendous amount of time was spent on it, but 17,000 hours!. Up to this point,
that's 10% of my life! Wow, hard to imagine. But the car certainly is jaw-dropping, it's all in the details. Look at his wiring for goodness
sakes, it looks like it was run by the strictest of Nazis.

i feel really bad for saying i ididn't like it now. The build quality looks the stuff of dreams it really does!
That's the product of a seriously obsessive personality. I'd be afraid to breathe on tht sucker!
Off topic: Kent, major kudos to you. I hadn't noticed that you built your middie at the ripe old age of 19 You have a bright future ahead of
you! Any progress on the body?
I was drooling over that one about 2 years ago when I was looking at a 914 to be a project car- was sadly disapointed when I found one and I did not
have room in the footwell for my feet. I did not even bother to try and take it for a spin
914s have always been called the poor mans porsche even though they are my favorite. That one sure is not a poor mans one.
