Are my wheels to small
andygtt - 22/1/06 at 08:37 PM

I've recently become a little worried that my MK Indy 215/40/17 wheels (one the right) may be a little small.......

What do you guys think

Golf buggy wheels then

The big ones will do wonders for ground clearance on the Indy though - monster truck stylee

Jeezzzus Andy,

Just what are you trying to compensate for?

I'm joking with you brother! LOL

Personally, I think its a rubber fetish

nah I'm more into whips and leather

On a more serious note these are the new tyres for my Midi..... and yes they are 345/35/19 and mind blowingly huge.

They are now on my rims and fill my newly made arches perfectly so are the size I was expecting but in person they are a bit OMG

But if they are good enough for an Enzo they are good enough for my little midi.

At least you'll have the power for them. Putting tires like that on a Locost would kill acceleration due to high rotational inertia.

followed a porsche gt3 on the way back from b&q, they have bloody wide rear tyres, how do yours compare to them sizewise Andy?

Ned.

I'm actually using porsche wheels and I had the GT3 size tyre on the wheel before..... theses are physically 70mm wider and 2in larger diameter!
