Rover K series V6 to Renault or Audi Transaxle
russbost - 30/5/06 at 06:55 PM

As the title says, does anybody know of an adapter plate or bellhousing replacement that will fit the Rover K Series alloy V6 to a Renault or Vag inline transaxle? Important that it's inline not transverse. Failing that, same question for the Duratec V6?

I think that people normally make up their own adapter plates. I've seen websites describing how to do this but I can't remember where. Sorry not much help.

autosports - the HUGE exhibition held every Jan at the NEC for racing people. Lots of race car manufacturers. This year they had a section dedicated to historic formula 1 cars.

Just remember this company having a lotus 21? replica just like Tiger do. Talked to the guy and they had a zetec / duratec (can't remember which now i'm trying to think about it) mated to an audi transaxle. Interested me as i've wondered about it.

ok, quick google of tiger proved i was talking about a lotus 23, quick google of lotus 23 replica finds you lots of links. quick search through the first lot gets you ......

Mamba Motorsport

Then again, search "zetec VAG transaxle" finds the same link (third in the list).

Google is your friend, use it
