Last night after work John, Bill and I decided it was time to pull the plug on the project. More accurately, pull the mould. We started at the front
and wedged the gates. After a few tense moments (for me at least) the mould gave way to the surface tension and POP! It came right off! After looking
at the part for a few minutes and realizing that the surfaces are basically PERFECT! We decided to continue. We got all the pieces off with no major
issues. However the Plug, which I have slaved over for the past 3 years, cracked in many places and had to be destroyed. That was bittersweet.
However, I now have my frame back and that's cool!

It must be a hell of a relief to discover that all your efforts have come to a successful turning point Steve. Shame about the plug but you knew it
would probably crack when it was removed - at least the moulds didn't!
I didn't realise you had a rolling chassis & engine under all that filler

Congrats steve, but you just gave me a heart attack. I read the headline to the effect that:
your moulds had been removed (from your premesis, stolen)
plug destroyed ( by intruders)
and you were bitter about it!

Just drilled the holes. And then tightened the shit-zpa out of the bolts.

Its always a tense moment when releasing the molds from the buck. Glad it went so well.

Another sigificant milestone passed with flying colours.... looks excellent.
that would be hard to do, all that work, hours toiling away on perfecting the plug. That would be so difficult for me to do, right up untill first blow is landed then all bets off.

Been watching you for 2 1/2 years Steve. Fantastic job, the nerves must be strained as you begin to release the moulds from the buck but great to get
to this point. Full speed ahead now.

You noticed that I paused for a second or two just before laying the first blow....
I had visions of the moulds being poo and the plug getting destroyed as I removed the poo moulds. Then once I realized that the molds were basically
perfect I was over the moon.
At that point the plug was just something that had to be destroyed to get to the chassis underneath. Glad I recorded it though. Because looking at it
later I realize how much effort went into making that big thing and how quickly it came apart!
