Hi Alan,
Meerkat is looking excellent, good work mate.
One thing thats got me curious though. Is there any trick to producing opposite sided moulds, i.e. once you've modeled one side of the car, say
the front left wing, is there a trick to produce an exact reflection of the mould for the front right wing? Or is there only one way to do it, the
hard way?
Cheers,
Graham
Thanks Graham, much appreciated..
Well it's always going to be hard, and it depends just how exact it needs to be...in reality it's a visual thing....but the eye can be very
demanding.
Check out on my site in "bodywork 1" I think...it covers this issue, and my solutions.
Hope that gives a clue....
I suppose with something like wings, you could use a thin profile which you could turn round and use as a guide for the others side, so long as you
make sure its in the same place along the length of the car.
Cheers
Chris
