Peugeot Spider - Mid Engined Trackday Car
R1minimagic - 13/9/06 at 08:12 PM

Has anyone heard about this?

I did a search on yahoo but can't find anything. Will be at this months Paris motor show.

Is going to be a track car only, not road registerable.

Is this one?
Its Spyder, not Spider

I don't know, I haven't seen any pictures of it, hence my question!!

There is a small snippet in this weeks AutoCar saying it is called a Spider.

Peugeot did a 905 Spyder using 4 cylinder engines way back in the early 90's as a one make race series. We developed the car on to the closed LMP car with the V10.

I still have all the drawings and may just build some more one day.

If you can find one of the one make cars today, it'd be fairly cheap and good fun as a track day car.

Cheers,
Syd.

They might do a run to homologate a special for race or rallying but I can't see a mainstream manufacturer dedicating production lines to boy's toys.
