GTT Update
gttman - 10/4/07 at 10:14 AM

Rolled the GTT out of the garage a few weeks ago when we had some sun... its now starting to look like a real car.

does look nice, a big gray shark

that rear wheel looks so close to the arches.

Pseicho - 10/4/07 at 10:41 AM

That looks really good! Should look like a proper supercar when you're done.

Does the body allow enough suspension travel?

garage19 - 10/4/07 at 10:45 AM

Looks good.

Has come on a bit since i popped over for a look.

Doug.

Confused but excited. - 10/4/07 at 04:22 PM

POSITIVELY PORNOGRAPHIC!

RazMan - 10/4/07 at 05:42 PM

I have to say that the picture doesn't do it justice - that baby is going to have real street presence. Those wheels & tyres are mahoosive and make mine look like something from Toytown

Great stuff Andy - can't wait to hear that V12 fire up

Cheers Raz

What do you think of the detail line I've added on the door?

something special about the first time you can roll it outside and have other people oggle it too. Looks gorgeous and bagsy the first passenger ride!

that is looking very nice m8. very well proportioned. hard to see how big it is from the pics. must say the rear whells look a bit empty compared to the from with those great big disks and callipers.

Cheers
The cars fairly big, about 2m wide & over 4.2m long.... the rear brakes are also 355mm like the front I just havn't got round to fitting them.

Doug68 - 14/4/07 at 03:40 AM

Thats looking way cool, keep up the good work!
When do we get to here the V12?

gttman - 1/7/07 at 03:36 PM

As I was crippled with back pain for the last few weeks Razman came round and temoraroly fitted my new huge carbon wing.

I them rounded up the kids and as part of a family building excercise they all pushed it out of the garage to take some more pics.

Just to give the car some perspective to those that have not sen it in the flesh here is my 13yr Old daughter posing in the rain with the car.

Rear needs more work particularly the diffuser.

I am changing the scuttle under the screen to better match the front of the car.

Only problem is that it the decided to absolutelly wee with rain all over my exposed raw steel chasis.

sgraber - 4/7/07 at 04:22 AM

Like I said earlier - nice!

I do have to say though... you have a long way to go ...

Just in case you didn't already know!

(evil laugh....)

But you can do it Andy! I did. And if I could, even with all of my back problems, you can too!

Steve

There seems to be a pattern emerging here - Andy, Steve and myself all suffer from dodgy backs ........ is kitcar building the common link or am I getting paranoid?

Andy - better finish it quick, before Health & Safety make it illegal!!

FUORISERIE - 4/7/07 at 01:09 PM

Andy,

The car looks great, and you're doing a great job with the design...
