At last I've got the build table done!
Weighing in at ~500kg this is a truly ridiculous way of doing this which I wouldn't repeat but it's done now so at least I can start using the thing!

Why?

You building an armour plated vehicle or are you planning on production and repeatability on a small scale or something?

If its just for a one off build what was wrong with building up a table top out of sheets of 25mm MDF or similar?

Hmm, may not be that quick, but at least I'm in a position to start the thing now.

Why did I do it this way? Mostly a few moments of madness.
The other reasons where that the top was cheap from a salvage yard at roughly the price of 3 sheets of MDF.
I'm reconciled to it not being perfectly flat, but whatever I do to it is not going change whatever shape it is now which is not the case with wood.

Oh, and I'm qualified in Production Engineering so sometimes I can't help myself but think about what sould be done if I needed to make 50 of something.
