Just a quick note to let you all know that I've finally got back to the car! Spent a very profitable weekend - got half of the gearshift sorted and got the tie bars/toe links for the rear suspension positioned accurately. Also re-mounted the seats. Full details and pictures are on my blog but here are some pics. On the gearshift, the shiny bolt will be replaced with threaded rod and the rusty lump of metal used as a spacer will be replaced by a bolt of the correct length!
