Frerrari P4-5

I'm with the dino - although the red car just above is nice, what is it?
I know its a race car but this is quite attractive (Ford P68)

In profile the P4-5 is lovely but the front is not so good. Ive gotta go with the Mclaren F1 short tail. Beautiful from any angle!
Any car design has to be taken in context of when it was produced and what else was available. Thus the Countach is startling as the ferraris of the
day were completely outclassed. Equally the Elise is a landmark because of its compact dimensions and taught styling, though from the rear and rear
3/4's it looks frumpy and dumpy.
I like (not in order) Alfa 33 Stradale, Maserati Bora, Countach, Pantera, Muira, urraco, Cayman (apart from rear view)
<-------- Mine - obviously!!

Why do you say that??
Mine isn't bad from the front (bit iffy from other angles!)

Yes.
But yours is a Davrian which will always be appreciated by true afficionados.
It's fair to say that there are many to chose from. There are some gorgeous race cars out there.
This isn't bad either:

*popcorn* I expect it's the tired old mid engine can only means longitudinal engines nonsense.
My car:

Hi it's the good old Chevron B8 that dose it for me. And thankfully get to work on some of them.

The "new" Ferrari P4/5 is just a typical retrodesign. It's ok, but not the real thing (like a new beetle isn't half as cute as an
old one, same with Mini, Fiat 500, Mustang etc).
I love the lines of the Ferrari P4 (the real one), or the Lamborghini Miura. Lola T70 and Ford GT40 are very nice too. As are Porsche 956 and 962. Too
many really nice mid-engined cars around to choose from, actually.
I'm tempted to vote for the original Ferrari P4, but only just.
well yes i refer to anything with a longitudonal engine , unless its big enough to be truly mid engined , its almost rear engined (unless its designed
with a proper weight bias)
but of course most racers fall into the 40/60 weight distribution or should do .
of course davrians excepted !!!
is it a dragon or a mk8?
Its a mk8 with a transverse mini engine

Jaguar XJ13, end of discusion
A lot of great choices there, the XJ13 being my favourite. However, let me offer the Lancia Stratos as an option. As a child I drooled for one and
when I actually saw one in the flesh at a Shelsley Walsh hillclimb later in life I was even more dumbstruck.

My current project, not in it's final form I might add, but close:
