Well, I like this one a lot more......a much simpler and coherent design IMO.
Not 100% perfection to me (although nothing is...to me) but still quite nice.....
Visited MK today - Chassis of new GT2 almost completed. All nicely tacked up ready for final welding. Ace shape and quality as you would expect. Fantastic wishbone design... would love a go in one. Maybe some other time!!!
I like it from the windscreen backwards.... looks a lot better in the stylised pictures than the 'real life' ones.
Have you seen the specs? I can't imagine anyone putting a 4 cylinder engine in that.
It just feels like i've seen that design before somewhere.
Did you look at his other cars?? The mania is aptly named as you'd be a maniac to want one,but the acid was a lot better. Not quite my cup of tea
though.
Ian
Jusy looked at the others...didn't think the Mania was that bad...kind of modern spyder.....
Acid...very nice indeed, although I suspect the photos of the body were just of the model...gorgeous shape IMO....
The worst bit about the mania is what's underneath...............VW Beetle.

Dominic.....thanks...
Funny though it's both a blessing and a curse.......it would be easier to have something existing to reference off....oh well...
Still it will be worth it in the end......that's what I keep telling myself...

Can't anyone come up with a truly original design anymore? that's what I really like about the Meerkat - it's not a copy of something else.
Dominic
Russ, like this......
I think it is how the batmobile SHOULD have looked....
The biggest problem with having something unique is that it takes a lot more thought deciding if you like it or not.
Having something that looks similar or familiar is a very strong selling point. It gives you a frame of reference.
Without that reference you need to decide whether you like it's uniqueness for being unique or simply because you like the shape.
We have all developed our own preconceived ideas of what a good looking car is like. Mine develop from my love of cars such as Lombo' Miuras and
De Tomaso Panteras.
These days to make a car look totaly unique would be greeted by screams of horror by the general masses. You can't make a car unique and expect
it to appeal to the buying public. Cars have to appeal to as many people as possible to make them worthwhile.
Just my thoughts.

Alan! Regarding the Meerkat - Paint it BLAAAACK babeeeyyy! That is very sinister. Wow! I like it. Not generic in the least. I think you will have
people following you to find out what it is!
As for the Sensor. IMHO It's quite generic looking really. Maybe not enough gills and intake nacelles...
I really hope my design has more "zing" than that.

Thanks Steve,
Yeah sinister.....I like that..
Could have good sales to the gangsta rapper crowd.....
Hope they don't put the tacky 20" bling bling wheels on......yikes....
