I think it's more than just lust...could be the real thing......

From car design news...

Mmmmmm. You sure done got purdy headlights!
..and lets get this straight it's a Chrysler? Lovely bit of design.
I have been lusting over this since I got my latest issue of Autoweek.
This amazing vehicle is supposed to slot between the Ford GT (40) and the Enzo in price. It has an amazing 3.4Lbs/Hp, the Enzo sits at 4.2! The
McLaren F1 was 3.9 and the Veyron is 4.1. So it should kick some ass! 110" wheelbase and 2,860Lbs.
Oh mama! I wwwwant one!!!!
Now my wife won't notice if I put 3 mortages on the house?

Saw it last week at the press conference. Must remember it's a Chrysler so it will (A) never get built, or (B) be so screwed up in the
pre-production development process that you'd never want it anyway
It's attractive enough in a derivative way -- but frankly I think it's just "thumb in Ford's eye". The press conference was
embarassingly nasty with the design wonk making barely veiled jabs at the GT-40 in order to get some cheap publicity.
It's all well and good to throw a show car and an eye-popping spec sheet together, remains to be seen whether they can actually make it a
reality.

Alan,
Had a look at the pics for the 2005 Mustang. Very Retro, very Bullitt.
Means me very much like!
Of course, performance and handling are bound to be debatable.

That thing has to be designed by a European!
Americans have forgotten what a good car looks like!
