I can get access to front uprights for TR6s for cheap or maybe free! The trunions hardly ever wear out and the upper ball joint is a snap to replace once they have gone bad. Has anyone else used this setup? Obvioulsy I'm interested since I dont have access to the book donors here in the States.

britishtrident, that really answered. You're a gem of a human being. (At least, I'm going with that opinion until your mates say otherwise.) Thanks for the enlightenment.

Thanks for the info!

If anyone wants info on the TR6 style suspension I can take pics/measurements from my Reliant Scimitar (same as TR)

The TR6 & Scimitar front ends are really just like the Spitfire suspension on steroids -- everything just bigger and more butch.

The Scimitar if memory serves me well also had a really nice rear axle location system.

For the lads in the states thats the same uprights Birkin use. Some uk company makes hubs that go on to those to give you ford four bolt 108 pcd

what's the name of the company?

does birkin use 4 or 5-bolt hubs?

Also then I would assume the Birkin Bones would work with the tr6 uprights without much alteration. Does anyone have dimentions or pictures of the Birkin Bones?
