Alternative to Outlook?
Guinness - 1/5/08 at 05:09 PM

Is there an alternative (i.e. free / cheap) programme that is as good as or better than Outlook?

Needs calender, email, contacts and be able to sync with a Blackberry or similar mobile.

Cheers

Mike

Never tried it (I only use web mail these days) but Firefox creators Mozilla also do a mail client called Thunderbird:

Maybe worth a look?

I've used thunderbird for about a year and a half. its fantastic, I do however use ubuntu linux.

I would definatly recommend it, there are also may plugins to help you set it up as you like it.

I use Thunderbird and Lightning and sync with a Tytn II and a Touch Plus via ActiveSync using BirdieSync http://www.birdiesync.com/home.html
