In cockpit from a Lola MK.5a Formula Junior at Infineon Raceway battling a Brabham (I think). Of course, could be a yawn for all of you on the isle of
motorsport.

Great footage - the car he was chasing clearly had more grunt but wasn't driven as well.
A shame the overtake was due to traffic rather than clean and clear.
I love watching classic race car footage! Good spot!
Have you seen the last lap of the René Arnoux and Gilles Villeneuve battle at the 79 French GP? Scrappy as hell, but what a fight!
Just shows you that ultimate speed (as F1 today) is irrelevant when it comes to 'racing'!
real racing, skinny treaded tyres

Thanks, scootz! I'd forgotten about that one.
Clearly, they were both having much more fun than me!! Don't reckon I could have driven as well as those 2 guys. Really enjoyable footage, which
demonstrates the joys of driving (fast & skillfully) in the sun.
I wish!!!
Just goes to show it's always a matter of inches (mm). I have raced cars, powerboats, sailboats, always the same.
Remember my old man taking me to Brands in the v early 70's to watch that sort of racing.
As for those in the clip, great; but sadly left hand drive
ATB
Simon
loving that, interestingly slim tyres!
Classic battle of Power v Handling
Great video
