i dont know if its the same on all zetecs but on the silver top i have theres a second tapping in the block just back from the oil pressure on normally pluged with a torx head plug

If you look around the head there are two or three taper threads with blanking plugs in them.

On my 1.8 there is one at the front just above the inlet and one behind the coil pack. There's another one somewhere I can't recall at the moment.

Zetec V ZZR1100

You can see the plug through the hole in the bracket?

I would check the thread of the plug and the sensor you plan to buy. You might find the plug is metric and the sensor NPT.

Hope this helps.

They are 1/8th NPT on mine. I attached my Racetech pressure gauge straight in without any adapters.

If i were you mate i would not worry about it.

The zetec is designed to run higher oil temps than you would expect
and put an oil cooler in at your own peril thats the best way to clog up the tappetts and get the valves sticking open
