Completely re-designed my website - opinions

Hello.

I implemented a complete website redesign over the weekend. This on top of making good progress on my build. It's not all in place yet, but close.

Would you care to take a looksee?

Thanks,

That really is excellent.

How long have you been building?

looks pretty cool, I did find a glitch though, I kept trying to click back to go back a page after voting for a photo, and it kept voting, not sure if you can fix that or does the vote option just automatically forward you to a new page.

Other than that the front of the car is looking great, but what you really need are some batmanish fins, just have them grow 5 feet out the rear.

Yeah.. Thanks for making that image #1 there Fred.

I think that it's a shortcoming of the voting system. (Just like a hanging chad, if ya know what I mean).

Very impressed with the website, neat and tidy, comfortable to browse and looking very very nice.

BTW I couldn't find any pics of the car as it was just before the body work started, actually you have removed virtually every pic except the newest ones? (bodywork)

Also it's been months since my last visit and this is the first time I see the new bodywork, I'd say the old one was stylish but this new one is superb, catchy and really really good looking, a 10 out of 10.

I like "Grabster" (as per some post by you) better than "La Bala" though I haven't had the opportunity to comment before, but the current name for the project is not 100% right, not sure why but it does not work very well in Spanish, it's too close to the verb "balar" which does not apply (related to sheep not sportscars).. not sure, but I don't think it definitely works.

Anyway, fantastic website, it looks brilliant.

Congrats.

Nice!

Please don't lose any more of the old content, though. I'm counting on your front suspension section in your old gallery to get me through my strut conversion

Hi guys,

Alez, es verdad, la palabra 'Balar' tambien se usa en Puerto Rico para describir el acto de dos personas horizontales en una cama...

Since the car is turning out to be pretty visible worldwide, I suppose that a change 'may' be forthcoming.

I have always had a hard time with saying "the la Bala" Since the and la mean the same thing in english and spanish. It's kinda like saying "the the bullet"

Any suggestions?

All of the existing content will be moved to the new site. None of it will be lost. In fact I plan on making everything even more accessible. It's just a matter of finding the time.

I would like to design a nice logo, possibly stick it on some t-shirts and sell some to help pay for the mold. Anyone care to buy a t-shirt?

It simply does not work I suppose you just need to choose between "Bala" "The Bala" or "La Bala"...

Anything interesting that comes to my mind I'll propose. Hm, if you had gone rotatory you could have called it Wankel as in "Steve'sa Wankel"

Congrats again for the site, it looks really good, oh and the car looks so good.

Would definitely buy a T-Shirt but they are ALL too big for me Pretty much anything I like and would like to wear is too big for me Except my Locost

Thanks Alez,

I shall rename it "Me gusta Balar"! NOT!

I don't care if you're too small to wear one, you can use it to wax your car.

Cooooooool!

Just one thing, though, could you add metric measurements for those of us who live in the modern world

Don't do it!!

Hm, I'll definitely buy the T shirt if YOU wax my car!! (kind of deal?)

Seriously, it would be good to translate units to metric, I have no clue what a "lb" is unless I use a table to translate, inches are fine more or less for a lot of things, but weight should be kg for clarity I think..
