MK-GTR fully tested

By Me!!!

Went for a blast today - one word

WOW!!

Even with an 8v carburated Audi engine the car is a lot of fun, pin sharp handling and superb ride, even the colour scheme grew on me a bit

Bit more power and it'll be fantastic.

Suppose I'll have to start saving up, unless I can find those pictures of martin in a "compromising" position!

Cheers

Chris

Note to all: I really don't know when to leave well alone. I tried to get clever with the mods, then when they gave me a lifeline to see the error of my ways, I tried to incite more trouble via u2u. So now I'm banned, never to return again. They should have done it years ago!

Erm, am I being a bit critical here?

Why does the car have a bloody great air intake behind the cockpit and then have an air filter sticking out the side of it?
Surely the air intake is there for that purpose to provide a bit of RAM air to the induction. Where the air filter is now is in a turbulant area and could even be a negative pressure area.

Terry,

I think it's designed for both car and bike engines, so bike engines need the height in the middle when fitted transversly with a chain driven diff..

maybe a removable/different version for the intake could be a development mod?

Ned.
