Some Lamborghini Murcielago details.
There are some interesting Murcielago chassis and drivetrain CAD details at
this site.
The pay isn't very good , but the work's hard.

Hmm, really interesting stuff. Especially when you see how they did their best to stiffen the engine bay.
And note the difference in diameter between front propshaft, and rear. Front is probable filament wound carbon fibre?!?

Interesting (thanks!) and very complicated, very expensive and probably fairly heavy.
I'd love to know what stiffness they got as previous Lambos have been not much better than Locosts for their weight according to some tales
I've read on the web.

great link. liked the rear upright showing the hand break solution. you can see why makeing convertables from cars designed as hard tops, compromises
torsional ridgidty.
i herd with the countach space frame that the used to distort so badly when welded that the had to hammer them back into the jigs to strighten them!

Shows how important the roof is to the structure. It would be a little flexxy with out it!!
