A couple of outrageous karts
They *are* mid-engine after all. I'm hosting these since they were hard to find. Both use a former 125-cc shifter-kart chassis, the first
using a 1100cc sportbike drivetrain! I could do without the techno-music but it's still cool.
The second creation uses of all things a 100hp gas-turbine!! They're both on the video page of my website:

Nice vids! - I like the fact that more and more of us are getting the videography bug. Nice one of the hinge especially. I hope you don't
mind if I "use" some of that idea for my rear hinges?

Nice videos, especially the Lancia hillclimber. Ugly isn't a word I'dve used to describe the mighty Lancia Delta S4,
'functional' or 'built for a sole purpose' is better Never knew they made such an impressive noise though, a mixture of
four pot motor growl combined with the maniacal whine of a highly-stressed supercharger and the whistle & pop of a turbocharger (yes, it had
both), combining in rally trim to give about 450-500bhp so in short-sprint hillclimb mode god alone knows, 600bhp at a guess? This car was also the
metaphorical straw which broke the camels' back of group B rally cars, as it was on of its siblings which Henri Toivonen and Sergio Cresta were
in when it left the road on the Tour De Corse, plunging down a ravine and bursting into flame, killing both men. The FIA knee-jerked and banned group
B cars, where a sensible re-think of the rules would have increased safety ten-fold.
A blummin shame as Lancia had dreamed up this monster for the still born Group S
category
