Exhaust advise
Hi folks,so a friend has just started a mid engined bike powered buggy project similar to a rage or drakart.
He has pretty much everything sourced except the exhaust. The engine is a zx9r and is there anyone that sells what we
Need off the shelf? As I know you can buy them for a front engine layout.
Problem is there is no exhaust builders anywhere around us and really don't want to go at it ourselves!
Any info,advice would be great.

Where are you based?
Track days ARE the best thing since sliced bread, until I get a supercharger that is!

I mid mounted a ZX9 into an autograss buggy frame and used the standard bike exhaust for most of it. Then went turbo and got rid of all that (can be
seen here)
I'm pretty sure I got the 1998 exhaust for my 1998 motor and found it was titanium which made welding it harder. Not sure if you are really
going to find one off the shelf.

Have a look at MEV's tR1ke, I believe they use the standard R1 exhaust in a mid engine layout;
