Diff Bucket

Getting to the point of needing to construct the bucket to hold all the greasey bits in on my fiesta diff and was wondering if anybody had any pics to aid the design and build process??

Also any pics and info on how you made your mounting cradels would also be great??

Can't answer the bucket question as Sylva haven't got any for the R1ot right now , but they do call it a Top hat, which I'm guessing is based on it's appearance.

As for carrier, there's always Sylva's pictures of their first R1ot, or some pics of my R1ot's diff carrier.

Interesting stuff.

you wouldn't have you got a R1OT build manual that i could perhaps have a scanned copy of???

trying to build something similar but on a much smaller scale, think go-kart on steroids.

No-one has a R1ot build manual yet . I'm making do with the Mojo one and Sylva on quickdial. .

I can take measurements for you if you want. It may take a day or 2 though as I'm building it a few miles from home.

It's always worth a try.
I believe they're waiting for a large enough no. of top-hat orders to get them made at a reasonable price.

My diff covers were spun from aluminium sheet, but if you've got a welder, there's nothing stopping you making one from a length of alloy (or steel) tube and welding on the ends.
IIRC, a graveyard flower vase from an undertaker (or graveyard!) makes an excellent cover for a Mini diff.
