Windscreen design

Wasn't sure where to put this post so I'm trying here due to the fact that it's a middy I'm going for.

Q. What do you think the best way to fit a windscreen would be?

Let me elaborate a little... Mid engined BEC using either ZX12 or Hayabusa. Want to have a removal hard roof (T-top style). So I'm thinking I'll have nearly a full roll cage with the front hoop angled back to match the intended screen (not decided on that either yet!). But how to actually fit the screen to that hoop?

I'm favouring bonding it on like most modern tin tops and then fitting trim over the edges but do you think that's the best way? Not sure how I'd be able to hold one in place by bolting/screwing.

Opinions?

Andy

You would be much better off making a fibreglass frame with a recess to bond the screen into. I doubt that your proposed method would look right.
Only my opinion of course
