First middy Part Ordered
Hey all,
I will probably take a good few years, but the first part is due to be delivered to a friend in the south of england tommorow. I'll pick it up
in a few weeks time and take it to holland.
The Mighty toyota 1uzfe V8 32valve!
it completely depends on wether my striker gets sold and when, on what I'll start to build.
if it goes it'll be a T70 if not it'll be probably the best overpowered Spire GTR there will ever be.
if it's up to me either a megasquirt or an Omex (depends on buget) will be controlling the engine and the ,to be bought, rotrex C38-71
supercharger. otherwise 8 trumpets and some serious revs are in order.
goona be quick that's for sure!
grtz Thomas
I allready have a UN1 box lying around but that will be sold to fund a porsche one probably.
If Lucas made guns, Wars wouldn't start either.

I have a video of a twin turbo 1UZFE making ~1000hp on the dyno.
The site won't let me attach it though.

I'm glad I got one wirings going to be a nightmare but at AU$1200 (Not an unusual price in Australia) with all the electrics, cats and air
box it's a bargain.

Considering the size of it, it will need a 1000 hp just to shift it!
Might be the first 200mph 7 though!

The engine in question was put in an Ultima.
Their web site is down now or at least I cant find it anymore
there aim was 1000bhp and 1000kg for the car which they achieved 0-200mph was 19 seconds I recall from memory.
Heres a link to the thing being fired up efter installation.
http://www.1uzfe.com/1UZultimaGTR.wmv
the engine is essentially a 700mm cube to fit in the car which for a middy I don't see as a big deal.

Transaxle
What transaxle would you run an engine like that through?

I can highly recommend the A6 audi. It will take the power but at £1800 plus adapter plate costs, it isn't cheap !

The gentlemen in question were using modified G50's.
Its a shame the websites dead, it was pretty interesting
You could have bought one if you were quick though...

Either they did one to keep and one to sell or the exercise bankrupted them. I cant imagine the bloke got tired of driving it.
Here it is in action, it looks like it could do with a better shifting box in it, and somehow I think it struggles for traction.

Yeah that thing was build by Majoola he had a site called gtr.info or something.
thing is manic and actualy did 200mph in 19 seconds flat.
anyway I have a UN1 lying around, and it totaly depends on what car I'm going to build, T70 will have a G50 and 500hp but if it's going to
be a spire it'll be UN1 and a little less.
here's my measurement piccies which reside on the lextreme forums
http://lextreme.com//forums/attachment.php?attachmentid=3177&d=1143067254

defenate weight will become clear when the engines actualy here, but the list says it's very light. it's all alloy so it should be.
