Building a RIOT

Hi, I just thought that I'd introduce myself.

I am currently building a Sylva Riot using a Fiesta 1.25 SE engine and ECU from a donor car. I've been building for about 4 years on and off but I am hoping to get the car through IVA later this year (just in time for the winter !).

Hurray, well done that man!!! At last we have someone who understands which end of the car the engine is meant to fit! Best of luck with IVA

I no longer run Furore Products or Furore Cars Ltd, but would still highly recommend them for Acewell dashes, projector headlights, dominator headlights, indicators, mirrors etc, best prices in the UK! Take a look at http://www.furoreproducts.co.uk/ or find more parts on Ebay, user names furoreltd & furoreproducts, discounts available for LCB users.
Don't forget Stainless Steel Braided brake hoses, made to your exact requirements in any of around 16 colours. http://shop.ebay.co.uk/furoreproducts/m.html?_dmd=1&_ipg=50&_sop=12&_rdc=1

Thanks for the welcome, I'll get some pics over the weekend and post them.

This is my first build and I chose the RIOT because it was a bit different and Stingray Motorsport who supplied them at the time are not far from where I live.

I chose the 1.25 engine because I was offered a Fiesta with 65k and FSH from a friend for a very low price.

Removing and using the standard ECU was the biggest challenge (it took months) however when it started for the first time I was really chuffed.
