What mid engine kits are available?
What are some good mid engine kit cars ?
Here is one I found.....

Most of the others I've found are based on beatles and aren't very fast or sophisticated. I want to build something that I will drive ALL the
time.

You're welcome mate!
Mine will be available as a kit eventually....
Until then there is the MK GT1, Wesfield XTR2, Coram LMP (if it actually exists ) which are all BECs. Then there is the Mojo (as you say) GTM Libra,
Midtec Spyder, Dax Kamala, Grinnall Scorpion 4, Brooke ME90, Ariel Atom, Phantom GTR, Pell Genesis......and not forgetting the budget priced Ultima
range (nice cars though)
There are others...but those come to mind easily...

I do have a guy lined up....but if that falls through...
At the start it wasn't my intention, maybe sell some parts perhaps, but as it progressed I thought "hey, why not?"
There is a LOT of work making the plugs, and it would be a shame not to mould a few bodies.
Anyway....let's see how it turns out

I had wondered why some people go to all the trouble of making moulds and only making one body from it.
As you said a shame having the moulds and not getting something back from them.
Maybe you can answer something that has been puzzling me?
When you make the plug/mould whatever, how do you make the separation line for spliting the mould?
That would be for a two piece mould or more any way.

Terry, there are a few ways, but they all boil down to creating a temporary dam of some sort. Typically a vertical strip of aluminium 2" or 3" high
often held in place with plasticine or similar.

Thansk for all the reply's. I'm looking about and seeings whats out there. Still think that a using a front clip from japan will be the cheapest
way to get the FWD parts and engine for reasonable money. More importantly lots of HP.
