Weekend 9Kg weight loss plan
I spent the weekend stripping out all the unused wiring and circuits from the original MR2 wiring harness I am using in la Bala. I ended up with a
pile of wire that weighs almost 9Kg!
Better yet, I now understand the wiring a little better.
Wiring is a real pain in the ASS!

What amazes me is all the other stuff you pulled out of your car! A step ladder, compressor, and potting soil really adds up the weight!
Seriously, I went through the same thing. Like you said, after that "education," you really know the electrical system!
I wonder what kit cars do about wiring, kits that use doners like the Attack. I'm guessing they use the stock harness but I'd expect
there's a bunch of wires not used. Probably leave it up to the owner to deal with, and like you said, it's surprisingly heavy.

I've driven it around the block since the surgery and even did a 'donut', (much to my wife's horror - but the kids loved it),
so I can assume that everything still works well!
And KB- the bag of potting soil was filled by dirt removed from the donor harness!

I'm sure an Eastern European professor of advanced auto electrics said that the Attack uses wireless networking to connect all it's
electrical devices..

Yeah its both bluetooth and wifi compatible so can be driven with any PDA enabled device ALA james bond. Don't worry about software, it
automatically downloads it to your PDA (no matter what type, OS, age, processor) when you connect.
Also, due to the advanced processing power of the modified EFI it understands 18 different spoken european languages. Of course this is a problem due
to the main target audience being American - but i'm sure they can learn english if they put their minds to it.....
p.s. anyone seen my flame proof suit?

Actually I don't know of any other kits that use single-car doners, the Attack is the only one I know of... Technically I guess they
don't either, since Audi front suspension parts are used.
I really wasn't trying to pick on them in particular... this time.
