I saw it posted on another forum, but I do want to panel the centre section of my real frame so that it does look a bit like a tub

The purple clamp devices you see on some of the the Fluid/air? lines

This car belongs to a friend of mine, gutted to see he is selling it as he has put a huge amount of time into building this. Quality of his work is
the best i have seen and have used him to make many parts for various projects. For another example of his work, his recently completed VW pick up is
featured in this months volks world I think. You won't mis it, it's the bright orange and black one on the cover. Simply stunning. Someone
will get an incredible car. Just wish i had the cash!!

Looks absolutely stunning....
How on earth did he manage to make it weigh 550kg though? Has it been ballasted?

Hi all,
Quick question, why has the builder bothered with Aero suspension tube for the wishbones when they are enclosed inside the tub??
Is it just because he can??
Have looked at the bus and i must say i really like the thought that has gone into it.

He's used oval tube because apart from the aero advantage, the oval profile is stronger than round in the directions you need for a wishbone.
Hence less weight.

I'm with Cloudy, how did he get it to weigh 550 kgs?
My agricultural crossflow powered locost weighed that at SVA with a full tank.

You don't really get the scale of this car from the pictures. It's a full size lemans car. So things like those wheels are massive!
That's where the weight all starts to add up!

Gorgeous
That's a lovely bit of kit and doesn't seem like bad value compared to Radicals and alike! Good inspiration for my project (which is going
nowhere)...
I think I saw this project mentioned in Racecar Engineering or one of those specialist mags a while ago!? Did he buy the parts at the liquidation
sale?
