waterproof suit - what do you use?
if using a car without screen.. Doors etc.. I bought a one piece suit from a biker shop in darlington. Was cheap.. Paid £35 for it new.. Is great in
the wind but it is losing its waterproofing.. I feel something better is required.. What do you guys use thats good? Good neck coverage i think is
important and good in the wind.. Hopefully under £100 if poss

Re-Waterproof it?
There are levels of waterproof suits, and at £35 I expect that was among the lower end of the scale, you should easily get one for between £60-£90. Do
you live anywhere near a J&S Acessories?

why not try some fabsill waterproofing?
i use it on my sailing gear, i would only try it on a small bit of leather first just to make sure it dont do any harm

Just get another bike suit. If you have a read though Ride magazine (info might be available on their website), they do decent kit tests and recently
(3-4 months ago) they did a test on waterproofs. The winner was a suit costing about £40ish (and it was up against some much bigger names and price
tags too!)

I went to the BMF bike show at Peterborough.
Got all my gear from the Frank Thomas Rejects tent.
I was told its mostly returned mail order stuff they cant sell as new.
Some is clearly damaged, but just examine carefully before parting with your money.
They had FIVE marquees FULL of theis gear.
Leather Biker gloves were £5 upwards.
I got my Aquapore jacket for £40, reduced from £140.
I agree a good neckseal is worthwhile.
If you have no windscreen. I strongly reccoment a Full Face Helmet, even if its a cheap one. Anything to protect your face and eyes from stones, or
insects.
A bee at 70Mph will take your eye out.
Do not use poser type sunglasses for eye protection. Better to pay out the extra and get ones with ballistic grade lenses.
You only get one set of eyes. PROTECT THEM.
Just my 2 d's worth

2. Never take life seriously. Nobody gets out alive anyway.
Best Regards
