rally design handbrake cables
just seen these on rally design. anyone know if they fit
the sierra calipers ok? they might be bordering on slightly too short for my car, but could work with the right routing.
is that price fair do we think? i remember one place quoting me something like £35 PER CABLE! and i need 2 cables! think that was speedy cables
is there any problems with the handbrake lever ends being screw on clamps like in the photo? i'm using a rover handbrake lever, so the idea
would be to screw a female rod end to the threaded bar on the lever, and but the 'bolt thing' in the photo though the rod end.
if that won't work, then the cables will have to wrap round the rover balance bar, and clamp with those U bolt things you get on some cables
or does anyone know anything more about this one?
http://www.rallydesign.co.uk/product_info.php?cPath=562_588&products_id=13592
length? is it 2 seperate cables? etc
although it does say cable, rather than cables

RD also sell a pair of handbrake cables for the hydra mech caliper, the end is different to the one pictured and may be better suited to the Sierra
calipers.
I'll check later.

I think I paid £25 each for my cables from my local spare parts place and cut them in half.
Okay so it cost but sometimes I'm prepared to throw money at a problem to make it go away. Doesn't happen often though!!

rally desing ones are too small. just called them
had a look at westfield, but my handbrake has to be 2 seperate cables. i can't use 1 since the lever won't be in the middle of the car.
standard sierra cab;es are too short to reach the back of my car too
