do duratecs from ford have camshaft friction washers?
hi everyone, i just took the cams off my standard duratec and found there were no friction washers on the cams. Is this normal? i also dont find any
mention of them in the service manual either, only the crank one.

it is available if you search
I'd love to give my imaginary friend a great big hug,
but this jacket makes it impossible.

I can understand using friction washers on the crankshaft due to the oscillating torque being transmitted into the damper from the crankshaft, but
wouldn't have thought the camshaft drive needed them.
