Scrap metal merchants harrogate area
Does any one know of a good scrap metal merchants in the harrogate area, I have an old engine and a couple of co2 gas bottles to get rid of and am
loathed to take them to the tip if I can get a few bob for them.

I go to emr on hunslet road in Leeds. You won't get much though if it's all ferrous. You need 2 forms of id.

Anderson's at ripon. There on dalamires industrial estate. You'll need your driving licence and they will only.give you a cheque.

Thanks, ID and cheque no issue. Yep now know were they are thanks.
Just googled these people http://www.loadsarubbish.co.uk/index.htm they come and collect but bet they pay nowt or next to nowt.

Yea I've used him a couple of times as I live in harrogate, he's cheaper than a skip! he's a decent bloke but he'll more than
likely charge you for taking it away.

You may need to cut the cylinders in 2, generally scrap dealers wont accept cylinders.

Been there a few times in the past, used to be run by an old guy who always had a pipe in his mouth. Now run by a younger guy, may be his son, but I
think went downhill during the change over as the old guy got rid of most of the cars before he left so it's taking a while to build up his car
stock.
