X flow heavy duty valve springs
Hi all,
I'm after a set of heavy duty valve springs & retainers for a 1600 xFlow. Any one able to help?

Ive got a set not being used. Brand new never fitted. £45? Single springs but uprated... piper springs range

Does the cam you have chosen, give its peak power in RPM beyond that of the capability of the standard springs, I assume it does given you have posted
, but just be aware that this will increase valve train loadings, are your posts now strong enough for example.

I believe not. It's the (Kent BCF2) but have been advised the springs should be changed for at least the heavy duty ones. With this cam -
everything else should be fine and not need uprating. Just being cautious I presume.

That's cool, just didn't wish to see you waste cash on something you may not need, all springs get softer the older they are when in use,
again something to be aware of.

Nick they use standard retajners, you may need to machine some of the valve seats to get the correct crush length. I didnt have to but depends what
someome else has done to the head. Check specs on piper first. I can post out on tuesday if you like.
