TOCA Race Driver

I'm not normally one for computer games but was playing TOCA Race Driver on the PS2, having a crack at the time trials, when I wondered if anyone on this forum has it?

If so what times are you getting on the British Circuits...!

I've spent far too long on it for my liking this evening and managed to get down to a 42.47s at Knockhill in the Alfa 147. Still recon it could be faster though....

I really wish they'd bring the second version of the game out on the PS2 as its got some good cars on it. Formula fords and Global GT lights for example..

You ought to get on Live For Speed and race an indy/caterham/westfield/avon type car... against other racers - much more fun and real people too as it's online and in real time!!!!

Played both Toca Race Driver 2 on PC and LFS - my preference is Toca 'cause I'm a bit crap and find LFS a bit hard/nerdy/boring ...... it is very realistic though.

Toca RD2 is fab - though I haven't played fr a while as the wheel/pedlas are in a box cause we're having building work done. Another few weeks and I'll finally have an office so can set it all up again

I have TRD2 for the PC. It's really good
We shall have to arrange an online battle sometime. Formula fords around Oulton Park or something
Road racing in the 68 mustangs is really good fun with your mates too

Live For Speed. It's racing game that has much more emphasis on accurate simulation (and is therefore quite tricky to drive if you are used to NFS or TOCA).

My current favorite is Rally Championship on the Xbox. Always been a sucker for rally games and this one is excellent, especialy ice racing in an AE86 Corolla! Project Gotham Racing has a Lotus Seven in it though...

I can get 40.00secs on brands hatch short in an alfa 147, with only an analogue controller.
