You will need to address the obscuring of your lights and number plate.

Yup, a trailer board is needed really to avoid any hassle and being rear ended.
The French Gendarmes are particularly hot on this in my experience!

I bought a rear number plate to attach to the bike rack. As per picture you can still see the lights (officer). I have not the time to wire up some
lights. I could attach a bike rear lamp in addition?

I am going with camp McWestie (WSCC) to Applecross I thought I would stay over and do some cycling.
