Can I come in here for a bit

Seeing as the locost is now sold, I thought I might hang around here for a bit.
I pick up the car in the picture below a week on Saturday.
Not telling the price though.......

GTM Rossa K3

Mid engined, 1.4 K series - multi point injection
I don't feel so sad now my baby has been sold...

Yes - the dashboard is blue - I believe vinylkote is still available, so it won't be staying blue for very long.

Now then....

No need for that flocking language It's a step down but we'll still talk to you .

yours, Pete

I went into the RSPCA office the other day. It was so small you could hardly swing a cat in there.

I reckon you should take on Jock as a handling consultant
Have you ever seen him drive ? Maximum attack, as the scandinavians like to say

He reckons he's faster than McRae senior in any machine you choose, and will gladly tell you that all day long - and he's a friend of Jimmy's :-)

Sounds like a challenge we'll have to set up...

Did you give him my number? I might drop in the next time I'm passing his house...

What was the deciding factor in making you chose more of a 'normal' car then the locost?

And what you doing with your CBR now?

Been there - also onto the yahoo group, where I see at least one picture of the car.
It seems there's lots of stuff out there on the GTMs.
I'll go to the GTM places, but I'll stay here as well.....
This place sort of - err - feels like, home.

I'm all filling up now

It certainly is that mate.

Once experienced, the elise is quite addictive.
I hope the GTM is (conceptually - oo-err) quite similar.
Lightweight, mid-engined, K series.

Just need to find a 1.8 lump for it

..and of course pre-dates both MG-Rover and Lotus in their attempts at putting the 'K' in a mid-engined car. Stories abound of both these companies examining the K3 prior to building Elise and MGF.
Dudley Shearman of Team GTM used to have a VVC engined K3 and is selling his Libra in favour of another K3 he has purchased. If you see any photos of a Light Blue K3 with rollover bars, that'll be Dudley's old one.
