bit more progress

well, since my last topic was hijacked ive started another!
its the end of the weekend (for me any way cos im off to me mums for some microwaved sunday dinner left overs and chill out for the rest of the day)
so heres my progress for the weekend-

getting there
getting there

and

again but closer
again but closer

as you can see i was a bit naive to think i could get most of it tacked up this weekend, but at least its getting there. some of the cuts are pretty tricky so i havent done too bad.

Russ.

Treasure these days!

I say that because the days of welding large pieces together and seeing your car taking shape literally before your eyes will be brief. It'll be followed by months (and months) of dull, boring, work of endless brackets, frustrating wiring, and lots of other stuff where it isn't even worth taking a picture!

Any particular reason why you've not put the side rails on top of the uprights like everybody else does?

yours, Pete

I went into the RSPCA office the other day. It was so small you could hardly swing a cat in there.

no particular reason really, doesnt matter that the ends are open cos theyll be capped off by other tubes, escept the front ones which ill plug with some sheet.

cutting- all dont with a concoption of bandsaw, notcher, hacksaw and grinder. still a bit time consuming especially the really tight angles with the round tube.

cheers,

russ.
