ooooh wishbones thingies
i have done bugger all in the workshop this week, but did manage to finish my wishbones last weekend so im here to show em today. hopefully this
weekend ill muster up some motivation and build the fuel tank. i scavenged some stainless panels from a big cooker i forcefully removed from a pub
refit im working on. it was a bit manky but free stainless steel is a good thing!
anyhoo heres some wishbone style eye candy-
rear wishbones again
as you can see they are top rocking arm with horizontal shocks.
rear wishbones
obviously there will be more fram work to do for the chocks to atatch to but ill leave that for now till ive some money to buy some!
Cheers,
Russ.

i posted something about toe adjustment but deleted it cos it didnt make sense! Changing camber will affect toe, and vice versa, but i guess you can
just fiddle till it is right!

how does the odd angle between the rose joints on the top wishbone affect the way it swings ?
Looking good BTW

Great job Russ!
Not the easiest upright to convert to double wishbone- and I speak from experience.
Like Joel - Im interested in the toe adjustment- this was the area that I got stuck with.
Again- great job!

the centers of the rose joints are pretty much parralel (+/- a mill or so) so dont really affect it at all.
the toe adjustment should be fairly easy too, if i allign the toe in first with the top wish bone which has 2 rose joints for adjustment and from
there set the camber with the bottom wishbone which only has 1. if it is pretty clos allready then any effect one adjustment has on the other should
be negligable. (hopefully)
cheers for the nice comments!
